layout time!

These are the layouts that I've been working on past few weekends:) Its very enjoyable to work on LO as if you are given a huge canvas to play around with, there is no limit to your creativity! Only limit is the free time I have to work on it.

I will try to capture the sources of material that I have used to my best knowledge as I like to mix and match. Its not easy to catch up on their names ;)

{so thankful for such times}

yes, i'm so glad that my boss walks the talk when he preaches abt work-life balance, so i can have time for my two kids even though i'm a full-time working mom:)

the journaling...

we (both hubby and i) will be much at lost without the unconditional love and care given by my mom to the two kids. Yes, we have our frequent arguements and thoughts on caregiving, but we always sort it out :)

photo of our elder girl taken at 46-months old, and you never failed to cheer us up despite being the more cheeky and mischievious one at home!

yes, u are the princess, rascal, monster, drama queen and all sorts:) but we still LOVE u, just like u love us, unconditionally!

Happy Valentine's Day =)

I had a bunch (infact, a few bunches) of surprises for the lovely ladies around me this Valentine:)
I'm glad and I hope I have made their Vday a little bit more special!

{a special kind of love} for my wonderful sister
magnetic memo holder great for the fridge or office cabinet:)

Happy V-Day for my Kikki Khaki ;)

lots of love 'pecks' for the ladies in the office. they made excellent present toppers, and is relative economical to make in batches.
What I used here: Medium size cloth pegs from Daiso, a sheet of MM Love Paper (2010 collection), Bella Blvd PP (freehand cut into heart shapes). I just adhere the squares of love messages from the MM Love PP to the heart shapes, and then adhere it to the cloth peg.

just peg them to a gift..
a whole bunch of love for the office, these heart-shape pens are bought from OTC. They write smoothly as well, so practical and appropriate for Vday:)

{In a blink of an eye, U R 4}

This photos are taken by TC on En's 4YO birthday. He took her out to Dempsey for lunch and icecream, but the cheeky girl was playing 'hide and seek' when he tried all means to capture her photos. U only get to take her pics while she was enjoying her ice cream!

our dear princess turned 4 in last Dec, but she definitely behaves must older than her age!

i'm into using blings as bellies..so sparkly and quick

and i love the Maya Rd kraft tickets...love love love!

p.s: not bad, I've done two LOs in Jan2011. Must keep up the momentum ;)

CNY cards and angbaos..

This year, i scrapped angpao packets for the married ones in the office, and CNY tag w/ holders for the not yet married ones. Hopefully, those who receive my CNY tags will be recieving my angpao packets instead come next year:)

sewing is a quick and easy alternative to adhere folds and papers! its almost a breeze!

bunny theme for the Rabbit Year

i fell in love with these paper flowers the moment i've learnt to make them. U can make lots of them while watching TV and use them when u need it! Adds lots of dimension to your work:)

close up of the details

the only card i made this New Year is for Cherie Hearts. I used the triangular scraps from my tag holder to make the flag banner. One item, two use:) Clever..ahhaha

and for a very very limited edition - 20 red packets 100% handcrafted for the little nieces, nephews, cousins and friends' kids. There is so much cutting till I get sore thumb!

but oh..i so love them!!

and wished I have time to make more...all are made on CNY eve! Crazy last minute scrapping!
