Busy weekend...

Even though I have been making some of En's Teacher's Day gifts during my maternity, but I have been procrastinating and it sort of got KIV after my Bintan trip. Such a terrible procrastinator I was that I have to rush the projects over the weekend. Thankfully, it is all completed just in time for her teachers!

one of the notebooks, more pics coming up later

gift tags - qi'en helped to stick on the buttons

gift tags for sis who need them as well

a good teacher is rare to come by - and i think its important we show our appreciation for their efforts. my life have been touched before by a very good secondary school teacher. without her, i guess i will be a school dropout by now ;)

we spent the saturday afternoon scrapping together while the little one nap - she is so eager to play around with me. this beats watching cartoons rite ;)

sharpening her fine motor skill & creativity

i got qi-en to write her teacher's name, and her own name to add some personal touch to the gift. kinda messy, but i tot it is so sweet to have your student write your name personally rite?

august is full of birthdays

August, Sep and Nov is probably the busiest month in my social calendars with many birthdays of friends to celebrate. Here are some tags/cards that I've made in Aug:

the cute owl 'epoxy' stickers are bought from a market near my workplace at a dollar each sheet. definitely not acid-free, but they look great for children's cards:)

i love to make tag in 'bus pass holders' for kids' birthday whenever possible. Got this idea from Aunt April, and kids can hang it to their bags like a luggage tag ;) Unique rite?

for my intelligent and hardworking brother - who is a great Leo like me ;)

{cherie} - a shadow box

Thanks to Sabrina for always remembering me when she needs a gift for her friend/ colleague. Here is an order for her colleague's birthday.

i really like the effects of layering different types of flowers together

hubby's friend's son turned one today - a little tag for Ayden:)
p.s: back to work and haven't been scrapping much lately - thankfully i have only one more notebk to go for Teacher's Day gift ;) Hoping to scrap abit this long weekend!
