cards galore II

I managed to squeeze out some time to make more handmade cards with love from me to my friends this week, despite a busy work week and a sick baby...

I SO MUST blog abt this unique card - this is a stand-up card I learnt through Jennifer Mcquire's DIY video (, and of coz I got to know abt it thru' TSL.

It is really simple to make and versatile for all occassion and shapes ;) The first person to receive this new idea is of coz my Hubby - together with a Thai songs compilation CD, which I know he will never spend on.

...and the second is BB Jez, she arrived just in time for Aunty Mer's new-learnt tricks :)

and some quick gift tags that I made which can easily slot into the gift vouchers holders - for my two ex-colleagues whose birthday is in July and Aug

and a card for the kinkiest (& corniest??) guy in the office..hahah. Too bad we don't have panties or bra-printed pattern papers in scrapbooking..or do they have??

Happy 1st Birthday Kayla!

April's Piglet turned one today - I've scrapped a wooden accordion album for her. The album is precut from Spotlight, I just embellish the boards, stick on photos and tie up the boards with grosgrain ribbon.

I think this is a good and simple way to capture a baby's physical change over the first 12m (which they do change significantly). Aren't Kayla such a lovely & chubby princess:) Muaks!!

more birthday cards...

This month, I've been "arrowed" to be the birthday coordinator for the these are what I scrapped for the July babies. I hope they like it:)

I must admit I'm not a card person, so you can see my designs are pretty simple and repetitive ones :)
'S' is for Stephan, our one and only French angmoh in the Biz Ctr

'C' is for my dearest neighbour Cecilia - always a daydreamer..heheh *oops*

'6:7' is for Ah Lian - she wish this day will never come as per her MSN nick. I really like the rubber stamp effect on the tag. I bought this when I was on my NUS student exchange program in Japan. I wasn't scrapping then but just want to buy coz it is CUTE! Now it finally got a chance to serve its purpose.

This is for one of the Charlie's Angels - Lea
