{just for you}

Kim asked me to help her get a postcard from Popular the other day for a baby shower. I told her to save her bucks and I scrapped this for her.
Hope she likes it:) Most of the stuff are from my scraps:) This is part of my effort to recycle & reuse the bits and pieces of papers from my scrapping - and it feels good to share too =)

Mini Name Tags

I got this deal through an ex-colleague's wife, SB. She was cracking her brain what to give in the goody bag for her son's 5th birthday. I scrapped a few samples for her and this is her choice.

These mini tags (size: 5 x 7.5cm) comes in trio-pack from Daiso. I got the idea coz I find them very useful for school-going children - they can tag it to their waterbottle, file, schoolbag etc. I hope the kids at the centre will love this unique gift when they receive it ;)

As SB wants to keep a seaside/ ocean theme with the rest of her goodies, I bought the glittered stickers to add some extra oOmph to the design.

{if found} stamped at back of nametag - parents can either write the school name or their contact if the stuff got lost.

{ K & K } - a family album of kids

This is my very FIRST 100% commissioned album of MamaShop. A BIG THANK YOU to April for giving me a freehand and such great trust that I will put your photos to good use.

Most of the photos are actually taken by Nicole - they are so beautiful Great job girl!

I had fun working on this big project because I know April personally, and so I can copy some entries on her blog that relates to those pictures, which make it more personal and heritage. So both the kids can read and enjoy it many years down the road. The Wongs have such beautiful children, and I can feel the greatness of their love for their kids while working on this album.

I hope the Wongs enjoy going through this album.

If you are keen to customise one for yourself, do drop me an email for a quote:)

Album details:

Album cover - 100% handmade with fabric spine - H8.5 by W10.
Inserts - 9 refill pockets with one main page for message, and 16 layouts sized 8 by 8. I think I scrapped about 20plus photos here.

{ US }

SC commissioned me to do a mini album for her Hubby's birthday without the photos. I realised it is actually not easy to do that, coz I have to 'visualise' where I should put the photos, what title should I have, and the size of the photos - perhaps I think too much.

So here is what I have - applied the stuff I learnt from my Paint & Stamp class - lots of efforts were spent on making the album cover;)

i love the heidi grace ribbon holder:

and these are some of the filler pages:

Details:

  • Album size is 6.5" by 8"
  • 22 filler pages of size 6" x 6" (11 pocket)
    photos not included

some recent orders

This is a photoframe I made for a baby shower which is going to Taiwan for Annie's friend.

..and a notebook w/ bookmark which is going to Malaysia for Pooi's friend.

credits (frame): Heidi Grace PP, Ikea frame, Prima flowers, MAMBI stickers and heart charm from Spotlight. (notebook): all from Making Memories, except letterings from AC thickers.

stash from Laines' e-store

Was browing the online SB stores recently and chanced upon the 30% discount on Laines' e-store. So I pooled PP into my 'ring of crime' and these are some of the stash.

I actually meant to stock up the 7G 97% complete stickers because they are just so easy to use for albums - but seems like they are OSS and the balance is what is left here:

nonetheless, the inkpads going for less than $2 is a great steal, and if you select to collect from their Wheelock store, you save on the shipping too!!

My first DSB

I did not have Photoshop so when Sis asked me to do a birthday e-invite for Shervelle, I'm abit lost. But I'm game to try using other software to see whether I can achieve a similar effect.

Tried this kit recommended by PP and it was great. I used Powerpoint to do the layout, and then got it converted into a JPEG file. Not bad huh? This is fun!

Good bargains from PP

PP's cousin was in States and helped her bought some really cheap SB stuff. The Colorbok stuff were going on sale like a USD1 per packet!!! She offer to help me buy some of the SB stuff too:)

Thanks PP for the good lobang!!!

Thickers - my all-time fave chipboard alphas. I think they are the best invention from AC

Been eyeing this since my Sheer Madness class..and I got it for half the price here!

These are going for a dollar or two each (USD)...... wow!!!
Oh by the way, Laines’ e-store seems to be having 30% sale on some items. I got some 7G 97% complete stickers for my projects. I calculated that they cost almost the same/ slight cheaper if you purchase them from YSS with the shipping inclusive.
Happy shopping!!

{Lov' U} ? Yes!

Finally, I got some time tonight to upload this - I scrapped a 34pg mini album for R to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. This was 'rushed' out despite recovering from a month of cold, flu and fever.

It brings back fond memories and marked all the milestones that we have taken as a couple. I enjoyed scrapping this, and at the same time - reminds me of why we are together in the first place.

Happy Anniversary Dear;)
