order from Sandy - notepads for his office

Order from Rach - Name tags with Magnets

This is a last-min order from Rachel as she just found out I've lauched my {MamaShop}. I did this personalised name tags with magnets with decorate clothepeg, which can double up as a paper clip too!!

The altered clothepegs is a great trend now - u can find them in most stationery & paper shops. The mini ones I have looked great with the Prima daisies and Winter Garden buttons - love it to bits.. this is a good gift token for mass-giving ;) Personalised too!!

pretty daisies for the ladies...

and buttons for the gentlemen.

this is a bigger size of altered clothepeg which I gave to Rachel & another friend:)

Order from Sab - 2008 Organiser

Sab told me she wanted to customise a compact & handy 2008 diary for Mr SQ so he could record all his important dates and teaching stuff. So I remembered the diary I bought from Daiso the other day - it met every criteria of here is her order.

I enjoyed making this gift - pretty fast - and regretted I did not get more of it. Its sold out already @ PS.

The fun thing is - the days are in Japanese format - if you are a Jappo-fanatic, this IS for you:)

Personalised cover - I chose a school theme paper - fun but not childish

Back cover

Content of this really good organiser (small but has it all)

Something for my Baby Qi-En

After scrapping all 79 gifts and completed my 5 orders on 22nd, I'm really left with limited resources and energy - but I'm celebrating Qi-En's FIRST birthday on the 22nd, and I want to do something for my baby.

I reckon that if I don't scrap something to remember her first year, I will never get down to do it. So in a short time frame of 2.5hours, I completed 9 photo frames, and altered a garden trellis for my Baby. I broke my personal record!!!

She was happy and kept pointing at the 'her' inside the frames, till today - she is still doing that when we bring her near the display. I'm glad I did this for our girl:)

It also became a talking point for both families - better interaction than sitting around and makan on a child's birthday:)

Happy viewing - they are now a permanent piece of artwork in my house!

I Inspired!

I'm glad to know that I've inspired those around me to get creative. Here are some of the gift tags from PP and Yati:)

Production almost Completed!!

Lately, I've been shopping & scrapping crazily - I've scrapped 76 gifts todate - and I've got 3 more to go by tonight!!!! I've spent hours & nights over them - so I hope the recipient will like what I've for them:)

I always thought I'm too old for those crop marathons, but I've been scrapping till 5-6am in the mornings for last two days - and slept about 3am for the nights before - all these for my {MamaShop} & Christmas gifts ... what a feat!!!

Oh, by the way - I'm glad I have accomplices to share the cost of my loot - it makes scrapping so much more fun!

My first customer - Sis

Sis placed her Christmas order with me back in November - when she knew I was trying to setup my virtual MamaShop. She is my first and biggest customer to-date :)

Dear Sis, I can't thank you enough for trusting my taste & skills - and most importantly 'investing' your hardearned $$$ in my venture :)

So these are what I've made for her - notepads, notebooks and altered 3M pop-up note dispenser. I love what I've done, and I hope her recipients like it too!

If you see something you like here, do drop me an email at - and I can do something for you! Enjoy!

TSL Gift Exchange

I took part in the TSL gift exchange (The Scrappers' Loft forum). The Administrator will pick a name for each Lofter to send a gift; in return, we recieve a gift from another. The challenge: make an altered item with budget of SGD5.00 or lesser.

This is the first time I'm participating in such 'virtual' gift exchange. I altered a Daiso 2-tier mini container using Love Elsie's Roxie & Zoe papers. They are so fun to play around with, I got addicted to Love Elsie!! Here is my work, I hope the recipient will like it!

I've been making stuff...

I've planned and started early making Xmas gifts this year, hoping I can complete on time. I'm making mainly handbound notepads after being inspired by this lady; some altered items & calendars. This is the first time I'm making calendars - quite excited about it.

I also realised I sucked at painting... proof of how lousy I am - after 2nd coating, that is! OMG.
